Program
11:00-12:00PM Keynote Speaker, Kai James
Kick off with the keynote speaker, Kai James, an associate professor with the Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Tech. Hear about Professor James’s recent work on the Historical Innovation of the Wheel, featured on Popular Mechanics and National Geographic.
12:00-1:00PM Lunch and Student Poster Session
The Poster Session highlights student-led design-build projects and physical prototypes. Industry representatives and GT Alumni are invited to judge the poster session, from which top students will be awarded prizes for the best-in-show.
Present your design-build physical prototype and network with industry judges and alumni during the student poster session! Whether you’re a seasoned maker or just starting out, share your physical prototype and show how you’ve brought your design to life. Any level of fidelity is welcome! As a bonus, the best-in-show(s) will be awarded prizes from the $500 prize pool.
During registration, you’ll be asked [1] project title, [2] project description, [3] how much table space you need, and [4] if you need an outlet for your prototype.
